Trying to occupy the kids while they're out of school?

There's tons of stuff you can do!

Summer is a great season to spend time with the little ones in your family!

Why not celebrate it with your kids by making everyday an adventure?

This age old method of cooling down is both fun and inexpensive!

Everybody likes running through the sprinkler to get some relief from the heat!

Things you'll want to have

- Garden Hose

- Sprinkler

- Towels

- Sunscreen

What to do

First, make sure you put sunscreen on the kids so they can safely enjoy the sun.  Next, simply set up the sprinkler in the middle of the yard, get the kids in their bathing suits, and enjoy!

They'll love the excitement of running through the cool water on those hot summer days!

Don't be surprised if you end up wet too!

This activity will turn your backyard into a jungle full of wild plants and creatures!

For some odd reason, most kids are fascinated with bugs.

Embrace their insect curiosity and go on a backyard safari with them!

They'll ooh and ahh with interest at the things you may find!

What to do

All you have to do is start hunting for the things

that crawl around in the grass and on the sidewalk!  Talk about the bugs you find and ask kids which ones they like most.  Ask kids how many legs the bugs have and what colors they are.

You can turn it into a great learning experience by placing the bugs in the jar and  trying to figure out what kind it is by looking in the book.  Kids will be amazed by the things bugs can do!
